It's been a while since I posted an edition of Fav Friday (yep, still can't think of another name for it) and seeing as how it's now Saturday evening, I feel like the time has come! This past week J and I have been enjoying a much needed staycation (house sitting for a friend) and as much as I wish I could have taken the entire week off, I used the time to catch up on photography related tasks that have been begging and pleading for my attention. I'm feeling a bit more centered, accomplished, and well rested, so I'm happy to report that the staycation definitely lived up to its reputation! Having said that, let's review all my favs from the past 2 weeks, shall we?
1. Last week J and I went with Jen and Becker to the Angels vs. Yankees game and sat 2 rows behind the dugout. Nope, that's not a typo and I didn't mean to type 22 or 222. TWO! Jen's parents have season tickets and she so kindly invited all of us to go with her and sit in their ridiculously amazing seats! I've officially dubbed her my photo bff because of it. Oh and Jen's parents, if you're out there, I just want to let you know that I love you. I've never met you, but I love you. And I'd be more than happy to accompany you to any and all Angels vs. Boston games in the future. Heck, I'd even spring for nachos and red vines.
I brought the p&s camera along because I couldn't resist documenting the awesome that was had at Angel's Stadium. Here is J's signature face he makes whenever I attempt a self portrait.

If this would have been the Red Sox lined up in front of me, I don't think I would have had the wherewithal to take this picture. No offense Angels! You're my second fav.

Evidently J smiles when B is the one taking the picture! Either that or he was just as happy as I was that the yanks lost and the angels won. Anytime the yanks lose is cause for celebration (:

2. Saw this movie a couple weekends ago and I loved it! Good music, good plot, good cast. It's definitely a buyer.
3. Here are a few things that made me laugh over the past week. Because laughing is definitely a fav of mine.a) J sneaking out while I was editing to go and grab some chicken mcpoisons (aka mcnuggets) at McDonald's. He said he was craving it a few days ago and because I forbid the consumption of most McDonald food items, I reminded him of his frozen buffalo wings from TGIF's he had sitting in the freezer. He resisted the temptation and came home to cook said frozen buffalo wings. Yesterday he said he was going to run a few quick errands and after being gone for quite some time, he walked in the door without any food in hand. You see, every time he goes to run errands, he inevitably picks up some fast food, but this time he was empty handed. I looked him straight in the eye and asked him if he went to McDonalds. He said no. I asked him if he was lying. He said yes. I asked him if he got a 4-piece or a 6-piece and he told me that he had just downed a 10-piece box of chicken mcnuggets in the car. As much as I think consuming McDonalds is the same as consuming rat poison, I couldn't help but laugh because he totally tried to hide it from me!
b) I was reading Jen's blog today, and came across a post titled - My love/hate relationship with the food network. Her take on Giada = "I TOTALLY love Giada...but I'm pretty sure she's a puker. I just don't believe that any chef can have that kind of bod naturally and eat Italian food nonstop..." = awesome! I've always wondered how she stays so skinny while eating all that food! Thanks for clearing that up for me Jen! Ha ha ha.
c) a few more items from the funniest forwarded email...
Was learning cursive really necessary?
Lol has gone from meaning, "laugh out loud" to "I have nothing
else to say".
I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom
and hunger.
Answering the same letter three times or more in a row on a
scantron test is absolutely petrifying.
Whenever someone says "I'm not book smart, but I'm street
smart", all I hear is "I'm not real smart, but I'm imaginary
smart".
How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just
nod and smile because you still didn't hear what they said?

That's it for Fav Friday (hopefully soon to be renamed)! Here's a sneak peek of an engagement session I'll be posting next week. Happy Saturday everyone!

I wish that you and I were sitting in those seats at a Red Sox game-I can dream, can't I? What a gorgeous ocean shot. Where on earth is it? Once again-amazing, Pidge!
Ooh this is a HOT one I love it!
